Program Info: George Fenton - Blue Planet
The OPRQ presents the famous musical score of the documentary Planète bleue (The Blue Planet) produced by the BBC, signed by the renowned film score composer, George Fenton. This concert version presents paintings representing different aspects and animals of marine life.
With a view to raising awareness of the fragility of marine habitats, the OPRQ called on the lecturer specialising in the marine world, Ms. Mélanie Lemire, associate professor in the Department of Social and Preventive Medicine of the Faculty of Medicine of the University Laval, which will provide part of the entertainment for the concert with instructive and entertaining presentations on marine ecosystems.
We encourage the public to dress in blue or wear blue accessories in support of marine ecosystems and the planet.
