Stefan Geiger conducts John Williams
NDR Radiophilharmonie conducted by Stefan Geiger - Wunderino Arena
Program Info: Stefan Geiger conducts the NDR Radiophilharmonie with a program of film music by the composer John Williams.
The NDR Radio Philharmonic is a symphony orchestra that has caused a stir internationally with its classical and romantic symphony. But the orchestra also inspires with its film music concerts - in Hanover at home as well as in London's Royal Albert Hall. At their concert in Kiel, the NDR Radiophilharmonie presents soundtracks by what is probably the most famous film composer of all time: John Williams, who has been making cinema history with his music for more than half a century. The Hamburg conductor Stefan Geiger, who is very familiar with both classical symphonic music and film music, will be at the podium. It will be moderated by the journalist Henning Orth.
On the repertoire: Harry Potter, Star Wars and other tracks
