U2 - Martina Hill Celebrates Robin Hood Live radio play to join in
Nürnberger Symphoniker conducted by Gordon Hamilton - Musiksaal und Serenadenhof in der Kongresshalle
Program Info: Nürnberger Symphoniker Gordon Hamilton, conductor Martina Hill, comedian
Now the symphonic musicians are going completely nuts! For the second evening of U-TURN | the orchestra, the musicians dare something never heard before: Robin Hood, the rascal from Sherwood Forest, experiences its world premiere as a live radio play with orchestra. The story will be presented by none other than comedy star Martina Hill. Sure, the interlude music from Korngold's The Adventures of Robin Hood is played by the orchestra, but you make the noises! So if you want to translate the rustling of the forest, the cheering of the followers or the languishing gaze of the lovers into the sound of the radio play, then you've come to the right place. Right in the middle there instead of just! Before that, conductor and composer Gordon Hamilton will present a piece from Shostakovich's phenomenal 5th symphony and his latest composition: The world is screwed - the blatant mix of orchestral sound and politicians' sayings. With quotes: Arnold Schwarzenegger (The Hero From California), Angela Merkel (mum from the Uckermark), Karl Lauterbach (office hours with Karl) and others.
