As a symphonic premiere in cooperation with our long-term partner Staatsorchester Braunschweig and the Munich Film Museum, we are showing the definitive restoration of the expressionist classic »The Golem, as he came into the world«. For the first time in 90 years, the premiere music by Hans Landsberger, which has long been considered lost, will be performed with large orchestra accompaniment under the musical direction of Burkhard Goetze. Richard Siedhoff, like Goetze a guest of the FMF for years, rediscovered the piano direction in 2018 with fragmentary parts and reconstructed the orchestral version.
