Orchestre Régional de Normandie conducted by Jean Deroyer - Neufchâtel En Bray-76 Théâtre
Program Info: Marc-Olivier Dupin, composer in residence at the Orchester de Normandie, lends himself to the delicate and fascinating exercise of creating, for the Orchester Régional, new music on a trilogy of short films by Buster Keaton dating from 1920 and 1921. The king of burlesque, who began with the music hall, will be honoured here through a film-concert program which the Orchestra has made its speciality. 100 years separate the making of films from the composition of music: an exceptional opportunity to recall the timelessness of this unique artist, Buster Keaton, who, like Charlie Chaplin, left a lasting mark on the history of the 7th art.
