Tan Dun: Martial Arts Trilogy
Chamber Orchestra - Chengdu City Music Hall·Concert Hall

Program Info:
"Tan Dun·Wuxia Trilogy" is composed of the cello concerto "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon", the violin concerto "Hero" and the piano concerto "Night Banquet", and ends with Tan Dun's newly composed violin, cello and piano triple concerto "Resurrection" song.

Music master Tan Dun uses cello, violin, and piano as the main instruments, and with super-high artistic creation ability, he has composed music for three classic works of Chinese martial arts film history. In the whole concert, in the world of swords, lights, swords and shadows, and elegant and free and easy martial arts, Tan Dun's happy rivers and lakes are composed with music that spans China and the West. The heart of the piano, the heart of the sword, the sound of the voice. The shape is broken and the meaning is constant, the silence is better than the sound...

"The heart of the piano, the heart of the sword, the sound of the sound. The shape is broken and the meaning is continuous, the silence is better than the sound... The philosophical meaning and aesthetics of martial arts and music echo each other from a distance, and they are in the same line."
