The Los Angeles Film Orchestra is honored to welcome Director/Writer,
John Milius to the concert stage, as part of the 40th Anniversary Celebration of
Conan: The Barbarian.

Basil Poledouris was one of film music’s most beloved figures over the 35 years of his brilliant career. In this concert we present a spectacular celebration of this remarkable composer and his work, unlike any that has even been presented. Director John Milius will join us to celebrate the 49th Anniversary of Conan: The Barbarian.

Basil Poledouris composed the breathtaking original scores for Conan: The Barbarian, The Blue Lagoon, RoboCop, The Hunt for Red October, Starship Troopers, Lonesome Dove, Free Willy, Iron Eagle and so many more.

Special guest conductors, including friends, colleagues and collaborators of Basil's, will join Steven Allen Fox, the Los Angeles Film Orchestra and the SoCal Chorale in this special tribute, produced and hosted by Robert Townson, a longtime friend who worked with Basil on twenty of his albums.
