The Lion King Gala

Program Info: As early as 1927, the traditional symphony orchestra of The State Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus, conducted by Yuri Karavaev, also brings the choir. In all, more than a hundred musicians are on stage.
The concert begins with African rhythms, when a hot savannah is created in the middle of Finnish autumn. The music for the 1994 film The Lion King has been a delight for 25 years, both on the big screen and in numerous musical successes around the world, and the classics composed by Hans Zimmer and Elton John are now brought to life in a family-friendly evening.
During The Lion King Gala concert, you will be able to enjoy all the familiar lion king hits from the delicate Can you Feel the Love Tonight ballad to Hakuna Matata, in addition to the great film scores.
The concert will also feature selected pieces of some of the most beautiful songs made for Disney movies, as well as African compositions. Featuring Phil Collins ’composition My heart belongs to you, among others, from the Tarzan film.
