What would the highlights of film history be without grandiose soundtracks? With Korngold and Steiner, two Viennese composers are on the truly cinematic programme, who decisively shaped the early years of American sound film and whose works had a great influence on John Williams, for example. Italian and Italian-American cinema was carried by the likes of Nino Rota and Ennio Morricone, while Michel Colombier knew how to use his French charm above all in Hollywood.
With works by Erich Wolfgang Korngold, Max Steiner, George Gershwin, Maalouf Ibrahim, Nino Rota, Ennio Morricone, John Williams and Michel Colombier
