Program Info: Join Cardiff Philharmonic Orchestra with conductor Michael Bell MBE, for a fun-filled, hour-long orchestral concert for all the family.
Widely recognised as one of the foremost non-professional orchestras in Wales, CPO celebrate their 40th anniversary with a ‘Walk on the Wild Side’, from the Jurassic to the classic in this year’s Family Prom.
Venture out with them to discover natural wonders, tall tales and fantasy featuring Prokofiev’s classic Peter and the Wolf, reimagined for today’s audience.
The performance will also include John Williams’ favourite Jurassic Park along with Elgar’s Wild Bears (from the Wand of Youth Suite) and Saint-Saens: The Elephant (from Carnival of the Animals) and a selection from Academy award winning, The Lion King.
