Program Info: Enjoy a magnificent musical afternoon on the lawn in the spirit of film music, when Tivoli's own symphony orchestra - the Garden's oldest amusement - moves out of the Concert Hall to fill the Lawn with music. In the company of soloists Louise Norby and Morten Ernst Lassen, we pay tribute to songs from the American and Danish film classics in a musical journey that will bring us back to the golden age of film music with the greatest evergreens from the 1930s, 1940s and 1950s.
Spread over four Sundays over the summer, the audience is led through a well-orchestrated catalogue of melodies with a focus on music from Hollywood and Danish films. We look forward to afternoons filled with film musical moments, when the orchestra under the direction of conductor Christian Øland plays familiar and beloved tones - live in the open air.
