The Magical Music of Harry Potter
London Philharmonic & Symphonic Film Orchestra - Alexela concert hall
Program Info: In the concert hall, Alexela hears the music from Harry Potter in a symphony orchestra presentation
On the evening of October 6, 2022, Alexela's concert hall will be transformed into the wonderful world of Harry Potter, with The London Philharmonic and Symphonic Film Orchestra as the wizards, along with the choir and famous soloists and actors from the Weasley family. The most popular soundtracks of Harry Potter film music allow you to experience the adventures of a Hogwarts school student and his friends and Harry's fight against the implacable enemy - the dark wizard Lord Voldemort.
The Harry Potter films, based on the novels by British author JK Rowling, are among the most successful in cinema history. The eight-film series is the No. 3 worldwide grosser, with a total of nearly $8 billion. Undoubtedly, the music created especially for the Harry Potter films by Oscar-winning composers plays an important role in this success. Composers include John Williams, Alexander Desplat, Patrick Doyle and Nicolas Hooper.
John Williams (Star Wars, ET, Indiana Jones, Jurassic Park) composed the music for the first three films. He originated the famous "Hedwig's Theme", the main theme of the Harry Potter films, and "Double Trouble", the classic Hogwarts theme with a children's choir. Also the funny Aunt Marge's Waltz and Witches, Wands and Wizards.
Patrick Doyle (Bridget Jones's Diary, Carlito's Road) created the Hogwarts Hymn for the fourth Harry Potter film, bringing audiences into the dark and mysterious world of the Triwizard Tournament.
Nicholas Hooper wrote Dumbledore's Farewell for the fifth and sixth installments of the series, and Alexandre Desplat (The Twilight Saga, The King's Speech, The Shape of Water) composed the music for the last two films.
During the concert evening, the audience will be taken to the enchanting world of witchcraft through excellent sound, light and laser technology. The visual and magical effects will make the hearts of all Harry Potter fans beat a little faster.
The concert is a real treat for every Harry Potter movie lover!
