Niteworks & Royal Scottish National Orchestra and guests - Glasgow Royal Concert Hall

Program Info:
Niteworks team up with composer John Logan and the Royal Scottish National Orchestra (RSNO) to create an exclusive show featuring orchestral versions of the Skye band’s genre-bending back catalogue, including music from their forthcoming third album. The show will demonstrate the cinematic depth to Niteworks’ unique fusion of Scottish traditional and Gaelic music with cutting-edge electronica as shown by their soundtrack work on Edinburgh's Hogmanay 2020 'Fare Well' project and Historic Environment Scotland's ‘Light Waves' film. Expect guests who’ve been involved with the band's music to date, as well as some from forthcoming collaborations.

A cultural powerhouse that’s been at the heart of Scottish life since the 19th century, the RSNO has been involved in some of the most exciting collaborations ever staged by Celtic Connections. Forging dynamic alliances between traditional folk and other musical styles is what this festival is all about. This one will light up the night sky.
