Coco - Disney cinema concert
Moscow City Symphony “Russkaya Filarmonia” conducted by Sergey Tararin - Zaryadye Concert Hall
Program Info: Michael Giacchino - Coco
In the center of the plot is the incredible story of twelve-year-old Miguel, a resident of a Mexican village, who sets off on an exciting adventure in the land of the dead to unravel a family secret and bring music back to the life of his relatives. Once his great-great-grandfather left his wife to pursue a career as a musician - and since then love for music has been banned in his family. Despite the strictest taboo, Miguel only dreams of playing the guitar, and chooses the famous singer Ernesto de la Cruz as his idol.
Colorful Mexico, unexpected plot twists, fiery melodies and rhythms and, of course, the love of music that pervades the entire film - all this awaits the guests of the film concert. Live performance of musical compositions will allow you to completely immerse yourself in the fascinating world created by directors Lee Ankrich and Adrian Molina, and feel like an invited guest at the Day of the Dead celebration, which is so picturesquely and vividly shown in the film.
The composer of "The Mysteries of Coco" is Michael Giacchino, winner of Grammy and Oscar statuettes, author of music for many animated films, television series and video games. In addition to the original soundtrack by Giacchino, the title track "Remember Me" by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, which won the Oscar for Best Song for a Film in 2018, will be played on stage.
At the Disney Pixar film concert "Coco's Secret" musical masterpieces will be performed from the stage by the Moscow Symphony Orchestra "Russian Philharmonic" under the direction of conductor Sergei Tararin.
