Music from Nino Rota
A tribute to Nino Rota and Federico Fellini, the inseparable Italian duo

Arrangements Bruno Moretti
Set design Serge Nicolaï

This new creation pays tribute to a mythical Italian duo that brought together, throughout their artistic lives, the director Federico Fellini and the composer Nino Rota. Together they created legendary films in which the music dialogues as equals with the image: Les Vitelloni, La Strada, Il Bidone, Les Nuits de Cabiria, La Dolce vita, Huit et demi, Histoires extraordinaires, Satyricon, Fellini Roma, Amarcord, Fellini's Casanova, Prova d'orchestra...

Based on some of these masterpieces, Julien Cottereau, who is a mime, a clown, an actor and a noisemaker, has created a show in which he himself is the soloist. At his side is a specialist: the conductor Giuseppe Graziolli, who has already recorded a large number of Nino Rota's scores, including music not written for films (oratorios, symphonies or concertos). Engine, it's on!
