Cinderella is the magic word, and Drei Haselnüsse für Aschenbrödel (Three hazelnuts for Cinderella) the film with an ever-growing fan base to rally for almost 40 years.
The film stars Libuse Safránková as the title character, a young woman who is put upon by her stepmother and stepsisters. The film employs a twist, though, when a handsome prince comes knocking.
