Tribute to Ennio Morricone
Orquesta Sinfónica de Navarra conducted by Vanessa Garde - Auditorio Baluarte, Sala Principal

Program Info:
The Navarra Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Vanessa Garde will pay tribute to the great Ennio Morricone (Rome, 1928-2020). His music is the soundtrack of the cinema of the last 70 years, although, as he himself recalled, he did not compose soundtracks but music for films. Throughout his long and fruitful life, the great composer created the score for more than 500 films, many of which we will always remember for their music: Death had a price; The Good, the Bad and the Ugly; Once upon a time America; Novecento; Cinema Paradiso or The Mission. After his death last July, Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte summed up his heritage as follows: "He made us dream, get excited, reflect, writing memorable notes that will remain indelible in the history of music and cinema."
