Film music - Famous tunes from Oscar movies
Slovak Philharmonic conducted by Rastislav Štúr - SF Concert Hall

Program Info:
In the 20th century, a new hypnotic entered the music scene: film and cinematography. The consequences of the technological revolution are still felt today. The musicians also felt it; the music was taken over by the music to the film, successful and quite bad soundtracks, musical effects accompanying individual film segments and scenes. There was a literally feverish cult of film music. Sales, good earnings, huge availability and the related undying popularity of film music authors is a significant sociological, artistic, aesthetic, psychological and economic phenomenon.
