With “MATRIX LIVE. Film In Concert ”, this film with four Oscars invites itself in concert halls. This hitherto unique cinematographic concert combines the visionary images of a science fiction film with the sounds of the Orchester national Montpellier Occitanie. The Don Davis soundtrack is performed live during the film screening.
Released in 1999, this film remains today a benchmark for the future development of the science fiction genre. The content of the film, the style of narration and the technical realization allowed the film to take on a new dimension. Matrix describes the fundamental insecurity of the individual in relation to his own identity and his position in a post-apocalyptic world.
