BROADWAY - "The Lion King" breaks all records in Germany as a musical and film - especially thanks to its incredibly great music. The concert gala "The Music from the Lion King & More" / THE MUSIC OF LION KING & More presents the most beautiful songs by Elton John and Hans Zimmer as well as some of the best songs in Africa. Also included are the new works by Elton John and Beyonce for Lion King as well as from Tarzan "You heard my heart" by Phil Collins.
The music reflects the beautiful and colourful world of Africa. The mixture of African melodies and rhythms and the film music by Hans Zimmer and pop music by Elton John arouses goose bumps and makes the concert a very special experience.
Elton John's hits like "Can it really be love" or "Hakuna Matata" are as legendary as the compositions by Hans Zimmer. The highlight is “The Circle of Life”, which the star soloists from Broadway and the “Broadway Philharmonic Orchestra” perform. Other titles ensure you can feel the impression of Africa, the smell of the savannah, the sultry of the rainforest, the heat of the desert - and the world of the lions.
