A little-known chapter in Windsor’s history - dozens of Windsor families were sent 1,000km north to farm the land around Kapuskasing, Ontario in the 1930’s. But instead of flourishing farms and happy homesteads, these unlucky Windsorites were met with infertile swampy land, long winters, and near starvation.

Delve into the history as local filmmaker Kim Nelson’s documentary is presented with original score performed by the Windsor Symphony Orchestra.
