Program Info:
King of Kings is a blockbuster from 1927 by the legendary filmmaker Cecil B. DeMille about the life and suffering of Jesus Christ. Partly thanks to an disproportionate budget (and thousands of extras), DeMille succeeded in making a film that is both spectacular and devout. Organist Van Berkum previously made a big impression with his organ accompaniment at Nosferatu.
