Jon Favreau’s photorealistic computer-animated remake released in July 2019 was defined as “a roaring success”. Featuring a voice cast including Donald Glover, Beyonce and James Earl Jones with songs by Tim Rice and Elton John, the live action film version receives its world premiere in Malta. This family-friendly symphonic cinema event offers patrons a unique experience to experience the Disney classic whilst the orchestra performs live the enigmatic soundtrack.
The big screen movie is broadcast in full film, the original soundtrack of the movie is retained, and the live music performance is synchronized.
The 2019 version of "The Lion King" will be fully presented on the big screen of the concert hall, and live musicians will perform live performances in full film to reproduce the sound of classic legends.
