Program Info: Performing sold-out shows across the country, stage-and-screen stars Al Sapienza (famous for roles in HBO’s “The Sopranos,” USA’s “Suits” and Netflix’s “House of Cards”) and Deborah Rennard (renowned for her role in the original TV drama “Dallas”) deliver an uplifting evening of beloved showtunes and standards that shaped their lives and careers, while also sharing rare and exciting insider stories from the entertainment industry. Backed by the acclaimed Joey Melotti quartet, this prominent pair takes audiences on a musical, autobiographical journey that spans Broadway staples and iconic tunes by the Beatles, Barbra Streisand, Frank Sinatra, Simon and Garfunkel and many more.
Sapienza’s prestigious career spans Broadway, film and television, including playing Ringo Starr in Broadway musical “Beatlemania,” and performing featured roles in top television shows such as Amazon’s “Jack Ryan” and feature films such as “Lethal Weapon 4.”
Rennard has acted in numerous hit films, including costarring opposite Jean-Claude Van Damme in “Lionheart,” as well as performing in famous television series such as “Days of Our Lives,” “Family Law,” “Kung Fu” and many more. Also a playwright, her latest play is being developed for an Off-Broadway run in 2020.
