In autumn 2019, the brand new BBC series "Seven Worlds, One Planet" celebrates its TV premiere. Only a few months later, this spectacular nature documentary comes with its highlights as a "live in concert" production with a large symphony orchestra and choir.
The BBC's nature documentaries have become true TV highlights that inspire entire generations and transform people's views of their immediate environment as well as the planet as a whole. With unique recordings, the BBC brings the wonders of Earth to audiences worldwide.
In autumn this year, BBC's next groundbreaking natural documentary highlight will be screened with "Seven Worlds, One Planet." The seven-part documentary "Seven Worlds, One Planet", which will be broadcasting its TV premiere in Germany under the title "Sieben Kontinente, ein Planet" celebrates, taking viewers on an epic journey: Millions of years ago, incredible forces tore up the earth's crust and created seven continents - with their own specific climate, their very own topography and unequalled fauna and flora ,
The live adaptation Seven Continents, a Planet - Live in Concert shows a selection of the most spectacular scenes of the TV series on a giant LED screen - accompanied live by a symphony orchestra. The music, which accompanies the recordings accurately and emotionally charged, came from the pen of Frankfurt-born Oscar winner Hans Zimmer and Jacob Shea and was produced by Bleeding Fingers Music. As in the case of the successful live performances of the outstanding BBC nature documentaries Planet Earth II and Our Blue Planet II, which have visited around half a million guests in Germany, the renowned The City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra, under the baton of Matthew Freeman, fills the captivating compositions with euphonic life, immersing visitors even deeper into the world of images and continents.
The audience goes on a journey of discovery through seven unique worlds with unique stories - from the colorful paradises of South America to the endless expanses of Asia, from the ice worlds of the Antarctic to the scorching heat of Africa, from North America to Australasia to Europe. Spectacular landscapes, a fascinating wildlife, previously unknown behaviors and unexpected stories.
