Program Info:
The Sound of Hans Zimmer & John Williams
The great classics of film music with a new program!

Even in Hollywood, soundtrack specialists are not given much time to dress the freshly cut movie images in the appropriate orchestral garb. Yet it is often the composers who help a movie to become immortal - with ingenious melodic ideas and an unmistakable feeling for emotion and drama. John Williams and Hans Zimmer are the two great sound wizards of our day, which gave goose bumps and happy emotions to generations of movie fans whose melodies everyone knows. Williams alone has been nominated for an Oscar over 50 times, and of course the two figureheads of the film symphony have been on the prominent list again and again in recent years. Both of them make use of their own musical language whose stylistic range nevertheless knows no bounds and sets new standards. All the many catchy tunes and distinctive themes make the 21st Century Orchestra and the 21st Century Chorus shine in a veritable festival of timbres with their soundtrack "The Sound of Hans Zimmer & John Williams"!

New program:
Klaus Badelt / Hans Zimmer - Pirates of the Caribbean
John Williams - Star Wars
Hans Zimmer - Gladiator
John Williams - ET
Hans Zimmer - The Dark Knight
John Williams - Harry Potter
John Williams - Indiana Jones
Hans Zimmer - Interstellar
and more
